Depending on required compression degree the centrifugal compressors with vertically split casing may have one or more compression stages, wherein each stage consists of an aerodynamic unit (“inner casing"), placed inside a steel cylinder. The aerodynamic unit, in its turn, consists of a rotor and a stationary flow path in form of horizontally split diaphragms.
The basic models can be modified in accordance with the customer requirements.
