Compressors for Acid Hydrocarbon Gas

A significant amount of produced natural and associated petroleum gas contains acidic components - hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), which content may vary from fractions to tens of percent at various oil and gas fields. Acids, which are formed in the hydrocarbon gas in presence of water, cause chemical and electrochemical corrosion of metals.
