In November 2024, a long-term contract was concluded between Kazancompressormash (HMS Group) and Gazprom Mezhregiongaz on gas supply for the testing facility of the machine-building plant in Zelenodolsk. The document was signed by Ilnur Sagdiyev, Managing Director of Kazancompressormash, and Aidar Tagirov, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kazan.
Mr. Anton Alikhanov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation within the framework of the BRICS summit, paid a working visit to Kazancompressormash (HMS Group) on October 24, 2024.
On September 17-18, 2024, Sochi hosted the report and re-election meeting of the Compressor Plants Association of Russia (CPA), which unites both manufacturers of compressor equipment, and specialized companies that produce components for compressor units. The meeting was attended by more than 30 delegates from different regions of the Russian Federation, China, Slovenia and Germany.
On August 29, a press tour for media representatives was held on the territory of Kazanсompressormash JSC as part of the information campaign “Tatarstan - the Republic of Achievements”, which was attended by journalists from the leading mass media of Tatarstan, including RBC Tatarstan, Argumenty i Fakty, Realnoe Vremya and other publications.
On August 27, 2024, a delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation headed by Mikhail Kuznetsov, Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the Fuel and Energy Sector, visited the Complex for the Production of High-performance LNG Compressor Units being constructed by Kazancompressormash (HMS Group) in Zelenodolsk. This is the first complex in the Russian Federation for assembly and closed gas circuit testing of high capacity compressor equipment. The test bench is designed for up to 10.0 MPa operating pressures and up to 110 MW design drive power. The implementation of this project will allow establishment of production and testing of the key type of process equipment for large-capacity LNG plants - mixed refrigerant compressor units.
