Two complete gas pumping units manufactured by Kazancompressormash (part of the HMS Group) have been successfully put into operation at the boosting compressor station of the Severo-Solninsky gas condensate field developed by Norilskgazprom (MMC Norilsk Nickel).
Gas pumping units (GPU) based on centrifugal single-casing double-section compressors 5GC2-310/6-42 GTU with a 2.966 million nm3/day unit capacity and up to 4.2 MPa final pressure were designed by specialists of NIIturbocompressor (part of the HMS Group) in accordance with the requirements of the API 617 standard. Units are designed to increase the pressure of low–pressure natural gas coming from the NorthThe Solninsky field and its supply with the necessary parameters to the Pelyatka-Norilsk main gas pipeline. The units are equipped with NK-16ST drive gas turbine engines with a 16 MW capacity, the necessary monitoring and control systems, and are placed in individual lightweight shelters. After successful testing, the equipment was determined to be complied with the customer's requirements and put into industrial operation.
Kazancompressormash and NIIturbocompressor have a long-term joint experience in the development, manufacture and supply of compressor units for the technological processes of extraction, transport and processing of hydrocarbons, including in the harsh climatic conditions of the Far North, providing increased operational reliability, ease of maintenance and extended service life of the supplied equipment.
