Anton Alikhanov, Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Kazancompressormash assembly and testing facility being under construction in Zelenodolsk.

Production facilities aimed at creating innovative high-tech compressor equipment were demonstrated to the delegations. During the meeting, the participants discussed the current state of affairs and prospects for the creation of key compressor components for large-scale production of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Special attention was paid to cryogenic steam gas compressors and mixed refrigerant compressors with a capacity of up to 130 MW, without which it is impossible to imagine modern energy, industry and transport using LNG as fuel.

By virtue of the assembly and testing facility of Kazancompressormash in Zelenodolsk, Russia is fully localizing the production process of compressors for large-scale LNG production: from development to testing on real gas with simulated operating conditions.
